In 1989, Congress designated May 25, the birthday of Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, as National Tap Dance Day, to honor his contribution to American dance and theater. Cincinnati Taps Inc. is proud to produce the 14th Annual National Tap Dance Day Celebration in Cincinnati.

Through education and performance, Cincinnati Taps Inc. works to inform the public about tap-dancing and its current and historical place in the world of dance. We work through education and performance to develop, foster, and promote tap dance as an art form.
